Tell us about your love story: 

Chris and I were destined for each other and everyone who knows us, thinks we are a match made in heaven. We had so much in common from the moment we met and one of those things was we both wanted an overseas beachside wedding – Yes, we spoke about this on our first date! We both love to travel and have been fortunate enough to travel the world together. So it was second nature that our wedding was booked overseas. Sadly, it was postponed only 4 weeks before the day and then had to be canceled for a second time due to travel restrictions and covid. So we brought our waterside wedding back home and had the most magical day..we would not change a thing!   

How did he propose? 

Chris proposed to me in Bali on NYE and it was the most stunning proposal I have ever seen! The beachside promenade was filled with tonnes of roses and candles that said: “Marry Me, Brooke”. In the background was an acoustic singer singing Whitney Houston’s, I will always love you, which was to die for. As he got down on one knee, the fireworks went off and the tears ran down my face and I said YES! It was one of the two best days of our lives.   

The most magical moment of the day: 

It’s so hard to choose one moment, as the entire day was more than magical. I did enjoy watching my husband waiting for me to walk down the aisle, but I arrived by boat instead and he had no clue! The music stopped and the drummer began to drum as we sailed into the wharf. I danced the whole way from the wharf and down the aisle with my Dad and would do it again in a heartbeat, it was so much fun!
